Limite is the genre-defying ensemble led by Brussels-based bassist Jordi Cassagne.
Their new album is a surreal serpentine detour from the real world,
winding and curving through the strange and secrete realms of unlikely characters.
It carries you into abysses of chimera seas, cruising along like a road movie of the mind.
Steered by the gripping words of Emily Dickinson, it is a solitary walk along the side of a road to parts unknown.
Limite blend contemporary jazz roots with indie, alternative rock, no wave and avant-folk, drawing inspiration from artists like Blonde Redhead, Big Thief, Joanna Newsom, Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and Sonic Youth.

Né à Bruxelles à l'initiative du bassiste Jordi Cassagne, Limite brouille les frontières entre les genres.
Leur nouvel album est un détour surréaliste loin du monde réel,
un chemin sinueux à travers les univers intérieurs de personnages déroutants.
Il nous plonge dans les abîmes d'une mer chimérique, tel un ‘road movie’ de l'esprit.
Portée par les mots incisifs d'Emily Dickinson, c'est une errance solitaire sur des routes qui ne mènent nulle part.
